Very interesting . Today we have banana bread which Dick calls cake. We will have in the am with coffee or in the pm with tea. Being a part of history so to speak.
True! Its funny – I wonder if his use of the word “cake” is a regionalism for what I refer to as “quick bread.” I know that many people refer to these things as cakes versus breads. They associate bread with yeast.
